Parus Cristatus

Dear Journal,
Here is another Bird study to add to  my collection.  It took me about 3 hours to complete.
It is a Parus Cristatus, native to Europe.  They make their nests in rotting tree stumps, which is probably why he is on one in the picture.

  1. It looks so naturally, like the bird just right now finished a flight and sit down. You make really nice light in this picture (love those reflections on feathers). And the eye is sooo beautiful - looks like nice little rogue ^^
